One of the main post-independence problems of Sudan was to gather all Sudanese behind a constitution that represented the interests of all Sudanese and contained regulations which unified all Sudanese ethnics groups by acknowledging their own identity, defending their individuals rights, respecting their tribal cultures, languages and beliefs, and providing them equal opportunities.
